Munnar - Located in the Idukki district of Kerala, Munnar is an enchanting hill station and is also known as ‘Switzerland of South India’ and ‘Kashmir of South India’. Munnar literally means ‘Three Rivers’ and is settled on the confluence of 3 rivers - Madurapuzha, Kundala and Nallathanni. It used to be the summer resort of the British Governors of South India and is home to the world’s best tea estates. Munnar is the home of Anamudi, the highest peak in South India.
